Last month I took my first ever plane trip on vacation up to Oregon to visit Sky Render for two weeks. While there, I spent 2 weeks checking out a lot of spiffy tourist spots, such as the Tilamook Cheese Factory (which I forgot to bring a backup camera battery for), The Oregon Coast, the Oregon Coast Aquarium (in which the lighting was too poor to take substantial shots), and one of the tallest mountains in the country, Mt. Hood. It turns out that I had in fact passed Mt. Hood while in the plane on the way to the airport, and while zooming in all the way through the window, I was able to grab this really spiffy pic of it right before I had to shut it off for landing.

One more place I went however, is the famous Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, home of the one of a kind Spruce Goose, which you should google and check out, or just check out one of the over a hundred pics I took of the place. Yes, the place is picture friendly, and once I found out, I spent the whole time wearing out a full camera charge (which lead to said lack of battery power for other places), and in fact only got probably around 75% of the pics I really wanted (there was a whole second floor I missed as a result). In the end I actually took over 160 pics, but for legal reasons could not upload the full album. That's okay though, the collection here now in the Albums page is quite massive, and shows why you really should check the place out if you ever get the chance.
